More On Justin's Book
(4/16) "This is a clip of a short article from this week's Entertainment Weekly:
"...'NSync heartthrob Justin Timberlake is tossing his own bejeweled jean jacket into the literary ring. Vigliano Associates has been circulating a proposal among New York publishers for a sports thriller to be penned by the 20-year-old song and dance sensation called Crossover Dribble. "The character is a white Michael Jordon - a basketball phenomenon," says an editor who passed on the book. The hero's name? Justin Woodriver. (Wood-river. Timber-lake. Get it? Of course you do.) Will he enjoy the same success as teh Spears duo? "His audience is girls and sports thrillers - which are a tough sell no matter how well they're written - are a boy's market," says another editor (who also passed.)"

Lance Wants To Kick Joey Out?
(4/16) from Jenna "I was watching MUCHMusic yesterday and they had Lance on talking to someone about his movie, "On the L." They were joking around and Lance said something like, "Yeah, I think that we're going to kick Joey out...he's just messing around too much."

Timberlake Gets Literary
(4/16) from ROlling Stone: He's been the subject of a handful of teen-targeted biographies, and now 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake will join girlfriend Britney Spears as a novelist. Timberlake has signed a deal with Ballantine Books to publish his first piece of fiction, Crossover Dribble, in what is reported to be a seven-figure deal. Publishers are keeping the details of the book's storyline under wraps, but it apparently centers on a professional basketball phenom (cheekily named Jason Windriver) trying to help his team win a championship. A publishing date has not yet been set for the book, nor is there any word as to whether Timberlake will be writing it by himself. Spears' novel, A Mother's Gift, was co-written by her mother, Lynne, and was published this month.

Wynonna Gets A Visit From Britney & Justin
(3/8) from Launch: Wynonna Judd was in a Los Angeles recording studio last Friday (March 2) with her baby sister, Ashley Judd, listening to a few songs from Wynonna's upcoming project; when teen pop sensations Britney Spears and 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake stopped in to say hello. Wynonna said that Spears was amazing, kind, and respectful on their first-ever meeting, and wanted to know everything the country singer was doing. Spears even told Wynonna that she performed the Judds' "Love Can Build A Bridge" several years ago on TV's Star Search. Wynonna returned the compliment to the pop superstar by telling her that she and her children are big fans, and that she recently got up in front of a small crowd and sang Spears's "Baby One More Time" to a karaoke tape. Just a week earlier, in the same Los Angeles studio, Madonna and Mariah Carey were recording and checking out the schedule to see who was coming in to cut songs. Both stars noted to Wynonna's producer, Shep Crawford, that they loved Wynonna and her music.

New *NSYNC Toys Are Out!
(3/8) Just wanted to let you know of something I found at the store yesterday. I found these UNO cards that have NSync pictures on them. It also comes with a remix CD of "It's Gonna Be Me". Its made by Mattel. But the cool part is that on the back cover, there is a picture of a Barbie doll Nsync fan. Now this is the actual Barbie here and she's dressed in an NSync t-shirt and hat. I can't wait till I actually find one for myself.

Lance Spends A Day at the Gardens
(3/8) "Lance Bass enjoyed a day of roller coasters and raft rides at the Busch Gardens amusement park in Tampa recently. According to E! Online, the 'N Sync-er wore baggy khakis and a fishing hat, and was happy to chat with all the fans who approached him. Whatta guy!"

Chris & Dani Show FuMan on CNN
(3/8) "I was at school today and my teacher had the TV on CNN. As we were watching they had a Showbiz spotlight...or something like that. Well, Chris was their guest and he talked about the new album and his clothing line. Dani was also there and he talked about how she was president and CEO. They were both wearing Fumanskeeto and they were so cute.

'N Sync Plans Michael Jackson Homage
(3/1) - 'N Sync will pay homage to the King of Pop at next month's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies. The best-selling boy band will induct Michael Jackson into the hall on March 19, their representative confirmed Tuesday. Besides Jackson, who was previously inducted as a member of The Jackson Five, other inductees include Paul Simon, Aerosmith, Queen and recent Grammy winners Steely Dan. Besides the hall of fame appearance, 'N Sync is also gearing up for a nationwide tour, which will kick off in Miami in May. In June, they're set to release a new album, the follow-up to ``No Strings Attached,'' which was the best-selling disc of 2000. In addition, 'N Sync will pay tribute to another Jackson next month. They are among the acts who will perform for ``mtvICON,'' lauding Janet Jackson.

Justin Speaks Out About Gun Safety
(3/1) The January 2001 issue of Marie Claire (Uma Thurman graces the cover) has an article entitled "End Gun Violence Now!" and features several famous people all wearing a shirt that has a butterfly on it and holding hands. The very last person in line is Justin and there's a little quote from him that says, "When the Constitution was drafted, AK-47s didn't exist. Now, at the very least, people should support safety locks for guns."

Lance Confirms the One Tourdate
(2/6) I live in Jackson, MS. Yesterday morning, Lance called 95.5 The Beat in his hometown Jackson. He confirmed the Mississippi tour date for May 20th for Veteran's Memorial Stadium. No other dates have been released yet. The tickets will go on sale at 10 am, Saturday, Feb. 10th. Also, this has been going around. These news tour dates will not be the same No Strings Attached show. The new album will have already been released and they are now working on a new tour. Lance said the new album will have a reggae sound. About the Lance & Beverly engagement - Scott Steele, Lance's good friend, deejay from The Beat, called him that day. Scott told everyone Lance said he "runs from the thought of commitment."

nsync jealous?
O-Town, the latest boy band to stir up fan support in the teen market, is used to hearing criticism. After all, the quintet - whose self-titled debut is the first release on former Arista chief Clive Davis new J Records label - is the epitome of a manufactured group, having been formed in front of an audience of millions on ABCs "Making the Band."

Even 'N Sync's Lance Bass has called the group "just a bunch of stupidity" and said that "I don't think it will ever last." Former 'N Sync manager Lou Pearlman steers O-Town. And O-Town's Ashley Parker Angel doesn't blame Bass, or anybody else, for his ill feelings.

"Honestly, I would completely understand any criticisms," says Angel, 19. "We don't expect that everybody in the music industry right now will welcome us with open arms. We're a group that is being put together on television; of course its going to be different than how 'N Sync came together, or how Backstreet came together. Maybe those groups are misconstruing what 'Making the Band' is. It's not the story of how they came together; it's a story of how we came together. It's an opportunity for people to view a group from its very beginning."

Angel and his bandmates feel that being signed to Davis label gives them some much-needed credibility. "Clive is a music legend," Angel says. "He's known for backing huge, huge entertainers. I think when he got behind it, that definitely made it a lot more legitimate. And now that we have an album out, thats finalized."

tour rumors,
If you were watching TRL earlier this week, you probably saw a few things that might have made you not-so-happy. I didn't get to see the show that day!

"I was just watching TRL and 2 things just made me sooooo mad! One, they were only #2 and they've got like 4 days left on the countdown so you guys have to vote like mad! And two, I just learned Britney is going on tour with NSYNC this summer, they're headlining together. I don't know if anyone else is like me on this issue but I really don't like her too much and when I buy tickets to see NSYNC, that's all I want to see! And if you thought tickets were hard to get before, now double the amount of fans in line to get these babies!"

If you're me and lots of other fans who weren't too excited about the issues surrounding the possibility of 'N Sync and Britney touring together, have no fear. The next day on TRL, it was reported that those rumors were strongly denied by 'N Sync's management. Now you can breath again!!!
